Trained as journalist, I left that career behind for technology in 1999, and have never looked back. I initially worked as the Technology Coordinator for an after school program, and was eventually promoted to District Technology Coordinator. I left that position and spent a year working as a free lancer. I joined the Red Lake Band of Chippewa Indians as a PC Tech in 2009, and was shortly promoted to Network Engineer, and eventually Security Engineer. Three years ago, I was promoted to IT Director.
